Bonvent Motorbikes FAQ
Clear, factual answers about shipping, returns, motorcycle compatibility, installation and Bonvent custom parts for Royal Enfield and Triumph.
Shipping & delivery
Dispatch times, carriers, tracking, customs and delivery issues.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. Bonvent Motorbikes ships from France to customers worldwide. The delivery methods available for your order depend on the destination, parcel size and shipping services available at checkout.
How is shipping cost calculated and which carriers do you use?
Shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout from the delivery address, parcel weight and size, and the selected service. We generally use Colissimo for standard delivery and DHL Express for faster international delivery, depending on the destination.
The checkout displays the exact options and price available for your order. Full details are available in our Shipping Policy.
How long do order preparation and delivery take?
In-stock products are usually prepared and dispatched within 1–2 business days after order confirmation.
- Colissimo France: usually 1–3 business days after dispatch.
- Colissimo international: usually 2–5 business days after dispatch.
- DHL Express: usually 1–5 business days after dispatch.
These are estimated transit times. Customs processing, public holidays, weather and carrier delays can extend delivery.
Will I have customs duties or import taxes to pay?
Orders delivered within the European Union are handled according to the VAT rules shown at checkout. For destinations outside the European Union, local customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges may be collected by the destination country or carrier.
These charges are not controlled by Bonvent Motorbikes and are the customer’s responsibility unless checkout explicitly states otherwise.
How can I track my order?
When tracking is available, a shipping confirmation email is sent after dispatch with the carrier and tracking link. Tracking can take a few hours to become active after the parcel is collected.
What should I do if my parcel is delayed, lost or damaged?
First check the latest carrier tracking information. If the parcel has stopped moving, appears lost or arrives damaged, contact us through the contact page with your order number.
For visible transport damage, keep the parcel and packaging and send clear photos before installing or using the product. This helps us open a carrier claim and assess the fastest solution.
Orders, payment & returns
What happens before dispatch, after delivery and when a problem occurs.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
A cancellation or modification may be possible while the order has not yet been prepared or dispatched. Contact us as quickly as possible with your order number and the requested change.
Once preparation or shipping has started, a change may no longer be possible.
What payment methods do you accept, and can I pay in installments?
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may include credit card and PayPal. Installment payment may appear through PayPal or another provider when it is supported for your country and account.
Bonvent Motorbikes cannot manually activate an installment option that is not offered by the payment provider at checkout.
What is your return policy?
Eligible return requests can be made within 15 days after delivery. The product must be new, unused, uninstalled and returned in its original condition, without scratches, marks, damage or signs of fitting.
Return shipping is normally paid by the customer unless the return results from a Bonvent error. Original shipping charges, customs duties and local import charges are not normally refundable. Read the complete Refund Policy before returning an item.
Can I return a part after test-fitting or installing it?
A product showing installation marks, scratches, wiring modifications, adhesive residue or other signs of use may not qualify for a standard return. Before installation, compare the received part with the motorcycle and read the product instructions.
When fitment is uncertain, contact us before forcing, drilling, cutting, wiring or permanently modifying anything.
What should I do if I receive the wrong, damaged or incomplete product?
Contact us promptly with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos of the product, packaging and kit contents. Do not install or modify the item before we review the case.
When the issue is confirmed as a Bonvent preparation or product problem, we will explain the appropriate replacement, missing-part shipment or other resolution.
Compatibility & product selection
How to confirm fitment before ordering Royal Enfield or Triumph custom parts.
How do I know whether a Bonvent part fits my motorcycle?
Check the exact motorcycle model, model year and compatibility information on the product page. Also review the selected options, kit contents and any notes about original equipment, wiring generation or regional specifications.
Do not rely only on the visual similarity of two motorcycles. A small difference in mounting points, connectors or factory equipment can affect fitment.
Do the same parts fit both the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650?
Some Bonvent parts fit both Royal Enfield 650 Twin models, while others are model-specific or depend on the original equipment fitted to the motorcycle. Compatibility is stated on each product page.
When a product fits both models, the page should explicitly name the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Never assume cross-compatibility when only one model is listed.
Why can the motorcycle year, market or wiring generation matter?
Manufacturers can change connectors, emissions equipment, lighting systems, brackets or homologation specifications between model years and markets. Triumph Euro 4 and Euro 5 motorcycles, for example, may require different wiring considerations even when the motorcycle name is similar.
Always use the compatibility notes for the exact product rather than a general model assumption.
Can Bonvent check compatibility before I order?
Yes. Use the contact page and include the motorcycle model, model year, country or market version, the product concerned and clear photos of the relevant mounting or wiring area.
Providing complete information helps us give a factual answer instead of guessing.
Installation & technical support
Practical answers about fitting, wiring, tools and reversibility.
Are Bonvent parts plug and play?
Many Bonvent products are designed for practical, model-specific installation and are plug and play when the product design allows it. This is not a universal claim for every part.
If a product is plug and play, uses original mounting points or includes a dedicated wiring adapter, that information is stated on its product page.
Do Bonvent parts require cutting, drilling or welding, and can I reinstall the original parts later?
Bonvent prioritizes reversible installation and original mounting points whenever possible. When a product requires no cutting, drilling or welding, the product page states this clearly.
Some custom configurations can require additional work. Read the product-specific installation notes before ordering. Keep the original parts and fasteners when you want the option to return the motorcycle to stock.
Can I install Bonvent parts myself?
Many mechanical parts can be installed by an experienced home mechanic with normal workshop tools, but difficulty varies by product. Electrical work, safety-critical components and installations requiring motorcycle disassembly should be completed by a qualified professional when the customer is not confident.
Installation time estimates and tool requirements are product-specific and should be checked on the product page or guide.
Do you provide installation guides or videos?
Installation instructions or videos are provided when available. Some guides are included with the product, linked from the product page or published through Bonvent support channels.
If a step is unclear, stop before forcing or modifying the part and contact us with photos of the installation area.
Do lighting products require wiring adapters or LED resistors?
It depends on the motorcycle, original wiring and selected indicators or lights. A dedicated adapter may preserve the original connector, while an LED resistor may be required to correct flashing speed on certain setups.
The product page should state what is included and whether an adapter, resistor or additional wiring component is required. “Original wiring untouched” is only claimed when the specific installation genuinely allows it.
Products, design & manufacturing
How Bonvent parts are developed, produced, finished and described.
Are Bonvent parts generic products or reseller items?
No. Bonvent Motorbikes develops its own custom motorcycle parts and accessories for specific Royal Enfield and Triumph models. The brand is not positioned as a generic catalogue reseller.
Products are developed around fitment, visual integration and practical installation for scrambler, café racer, roadster, bobber and vintage-inspired builds.
Where are Bonvent parts designed and manufactured?
Bonvent Motorbikes is a French brand, and its products are designed in France. Production is carried out through selected specialist workshops, craftsmen and small-series manufacturing partners depending on the material and part.
This allows different components—composite bodywork, metal brackets, upholstery and wiring—to be produced by workshops suited to the required process.
What materials and finishes do you use?
Materials depend on the product and can include reinforced composite material, glass-fiber reinforced composite, steel, CNC-machined aluminium, motorcycle-grade synthetic leather, genuine leather and suede options.
The exact material, finish and included hardware are stated on the relevant product page. A material used on one Bonvent product should not be assumed for another.
Can handmade or small-series parts have minor variations?
Yes. Handmade upholstery, composite parts and small-series finishes can show minor visual differences that do not affect normal fitment or function. Stitching, texture and colour can also appear slightly different under different lighting or screen settings.
Meaningful damage, incorrect parts or abnormal finish defects should still be reported before installation.
Are Bonvent parts approved for road use?
Road-use and inspection requirements vary by country, region and product category. E-marking, CE information or other approval details are stated only when they apply to the exact product or included component.
Bonvent avoids presenting every custom part as universally “road legal.” The rider is responsible for checking local requirements, especially for lighting, indicators, mirrors, exhaust-related parts and registration inspections.
Professionals, workshops & support
Trade enquiries, motorcycle builders and technical questions.
Do you work with motorcycle workshops, dealers and custom builders?
Yes. Bonvent can review professional enquiries from workshops, dealers, distributors and motorcycle builders. Trade conditions depend on the products, quantities, destination and type of cooperation.
Use the contact page and include your company information, country, website or social profile, products of interest and estimated quantities.
How should I contact Bonvent for technical support?
Use the contact page and provide the order number when applicable, motorcycle model and year, product name, selected options and clear photos or a short video of the issue.
A precise technical request receives a faster and more reliable answer than a message without motorcycle or product details.
