Bonvent Motorbikes is an independent French motorcycle parts brand founded in 2021. From our design studio near Paris, we create premium, model-specific accessories and complete transformation systems for Royal Enfield and Triumph motorcycles.
We are not a custom garage and we do not resell generic parts. Every Bonvent product starts with an original design, is developed on a real motorcycle and is engineered so riders can install it themselves with confidence.

WHY BONVENT EXISTS
Original design without bespoke workshop complexity
Custom motorcycles have traditionally sat between two extremes: exceptional one-off workshop builds that demand time, budget and permanent modification, and universal accessories that leave the rider to solve fitment, wiring and finishing alone.
Bonvent was created between those two worlds — distinctive original products with the fit, compatibility and installation logic of a complete system. We remove unnecessary complexity, never at the expense of design, materials or finish.

THE ORIGIN OF BONVENT
From a month on the road to a design studio near Paris
Bonvent began before it had a name. During a motorcycle journey from Paris to Abidjan in 2018, Marius Paijens started thinking seriously about creating within the motorcycle world.
The connection with his previous life in music was natural: both start from an empty space, demand countless small adjustments and only work when every element serves the whole.
For me, motorcycles are not about speed. Like music or surfing, they become a way of seeing the world — a source of freedom, travel and creative expression.
Paris to Abidjan
A one-month ride from Paris to Abidjan on a Honda Transalp 600 turned motorcycles from transport into a philosophy of life — freedom, travel, independence.
A new creative chapter
After more than a decade as a drummer, composer, producer and sound engineer, Marius left professional music to create on his own terms.
From clay to digital design
The first fairings were sculpted in clay and moulded in composite in a small Paris apartment. The craft evolved into 3D scanning, digital modelling and purpose-built large-format prototyping tools.
Bonvent launches
The first sales began with the Dakar Scrambler Kit for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650: rally tank cover, high front mudguard, custom seat and model-specific rear components.
Why “Bonvent”?
Bon vent means “fair winds” — the send-off once given to sailors leaving on a long voyage. In France, it is also what you tell someone setting out for good: move forward, accept the unknown, don’t look back. Travel, freedom and a touch of nostalgia — that philosophy became the brand.

Creative direction backed by decades of business experience
Bonvent is an independent French company founded and built by Marius Paijens, who leads every design and product decision. His father, Cornelis Paijens — a Dutch entrepreneur with more than 45 years of experience building companies — supports the business side, advising on strategy, organisation and logistics. Creative direction stays entirely with the founder, backed by real operational experience and a team that knows every product first-hand.
Bonvent’s outlook has been shaped by years of living and travelling across Europe and Asia. Different riding cultures, aesthetics and manufacturing traditions feed the design language, the choice of specialist partners and the way the brand serves an international community.

FROM IDEA TO ROAD-TESTED PRODUCT
Designed in-house from first concept to final validation
Every Bonvent design still comes from Marius. A new part moves from idea to 3D scanning, digital modelling, prototyping, fitment trials and road testing before production is approved — and the installation method is developed at the same time as the shape.
Bonvent owns the original designs, 3D files, moulds and tooling created for its product range. Manufacturing partners work from Bonvent specifications and contribute specialist process knowledge where required.
Observe and imagine
Every product begins with a real visual or practical problem on the motorcycle and an original idea for solving it.
Scan the motorcycle
The motorcycle and its mounting points are captured so proportions, clearances and compatibility can be developed around the real machine.
Design the complete solution
Marius creates the form, mounting logic and supporting components together rather than treating installation as an afterthought.
Prototype and refine
3D and resin prototypes are fitted, reviewed and adjusted. Some ideas are resolved quickly; others require many iterations.
Fitment and road testing
First parts are installed on the motorcycle and tested in real use. Seats receive longer-distance testing, while each product is evaluated according to its function.
Approve production
Only after the design, fit and road behaviour are validated is a product approved for production with the relevant specialist workshop.
PLUG & PLAY BY DESIGN
Ease is engineered, not added later
Every Bonvent-designed product is developed as a model-specific plug-and-play solution. At Bonvent, plug & play means that the difficult details — mounting, wiring, hardware, clearances and compatibility — are solved before the product reaches the customer.
With basic tools and a suitable workspace, even a first-time builder can complete meaningful changes. A full Interceptor 650 or Continental GT 650 transformation can be assembled over a weekend using compatible Bonvent components.
Exact requirements remain product-specific. Selected applications, such as certain mudguards, may require an additional mounting hole; this is stated clearly on the relevant product page. Ease of installation never comes at the expense of materials, finish or visual coherence.
No cutting original wiring
Purpose-made connectors and adapters preserve the motorcycle’s original electrical harness.
No welding the motorcycle
Bonvent systems use defined mounting points and supplied brackets rather than permanent frame work.
No bending parts to make them fit
Fitment is developed digitally and verified on the real motorcycle before production.
No modification of original parts
Original components remain untouched so the motorcycle can retain its integrity and, in most cases, return to stock.
Hardware and adapters included
Fasteners, brackets, electrical adapters and supporting parts are included whenever the installation requires them.
Guidance for involved installations
Video tutorials and product-specific instructions support riders through the more technical installations.
WHAT PREMIUM MEANS AT BONVENT
The right material, the right process, the right finish
Premium is not one material or one country of origin. It is the discipline of choosing the right process for each function, controlling the hidden details and refusing any finish that does not meet the design.
Bonvent works with reinforced composite, moulded ABS, steel, stainless hardware, machined aluminium, specialist upholstery and purpose-developed electrical components — each selected for strength, weight, durability, finish and installation.
Hand-finished reinforced composite
Lightweight glass-fibre-reinforced composite — part of the same material family used across motorsport applications — is selected for complex forms and low weight. Parts are hand-laminated, cut, sanded, prepared, painted with automotive coatings and polished individually.
Moulded ABS for selected Triumph parts
Injection-moulded or thermoformed ABS is used where its light weight, impact resistance and repeatability suit the product. Selected Bonneville parts use approximately 2–3 mm material and receive a UV-resistant automotive paint finish.
Powder-coated steel structures
Structural brackets are produced in steel and protected by a durable powder-coated finish of approximately 100 microns. Selected nuts are welded into the bracket to make final installation faster and cleaner.
CNC-machined aluminium
Products such as the Triumph Mini Speedo Case are machined from solid aluminium for precision, compact dimensions and a premium black finish.
Purpose-built seat construction
Seat foams are produced in dedicated moulds or cut by hand. Dual-density constructions are used where comfort and support require them. Covers are hand-cut, hand-stitched and assembled by an upholsterer with more than 30 years of high-end experience.
Bonvent-developed wiring
Bonvent develops its own wiring adapters instead of relying on generic resale cables. Machine-crimped connections, braided protective sleeves, weather-resistant construction and electrical testing are part of the specification.
A2 stainless steel hardware and nylon-insert locknuts are used across selected kits. Most Bonvent lighting products include recognised road-use certification, such as E-mark approval, where stated on the product page. Approval requirements vary by product and country, so riders should always check the exact listing and local regulations.
HOW BONVENT PRODUCTS ARE MADE
French design, specialist manufacturing, final control near Paris
Every Bonvent product is designed and developed by Bonvent. Production is then carried out with selected specialist partners according to the process required by the part.
Marius and the Bonvent team visit partner workshops, validate first production pieces and test them on the motorcycle before a series is approved. Final preparation, assembly, kit completion, quality control and worldwide dispatch are handled from Bonvent’s facility in Herblay, near Paris.
Specialist production partners
Machining, metalwork, welding, mould making, composite lay-up, ABS forming, upholstery, coating and electrical assembly are entrusted to workshops selected for the process they perform best.
Final preparation near Paris
Components arrive at Bonvent’s facility in Herblay, where products are finished when required, assembled into complete kits, checked, packed and dispatched worldwide.
Individual inspection
Paint, polish, welds, connectors, hardware and kit contents are checked. A part that does not meet Bonvent standards is rejected, reworked or remade before it can reach a customer.
