GT 650 Rear Mudguard & Interceptor 650 Rear Fender – Short

The Bonvent Short Rear Mudguard was designed to solve a common problem on the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650: the large empty gap between the rear frame loop and the original rear mudguard.

On many custom builds, this area can look unfinished. The Bonvent mudguard fills that space and creates a flatter, cleaner rear line that follows the height of the frame. The result is a more premium rear-end finish without cutting the original frame loop.

The mudguard is shorter than the original rear mudguard, so it visually shortens the back of the motorcycle. It works with the original seat, with shorter custom seats, and with the Bonvent seat range. Its flat shape is designed to sit close to the frame line and give the bike a more balanced scrambler, café racer or minimalist custom profile.

The original Royal Enfield 650 rear section leaves a visible gap between the frame loop and the mudguard area. Some custom builders solve this by cutting the rear loop, but that creates a permanent frame modification.

Bonvent designed this short rear mudguard to give the motorcycle a similar clean visual effect while keeping the original frame untouched. It fills the rear gap, flattens the line behind the seat and gives the back of the bike a more finished custom look.

This rear mudguard can be used with the original seat or with a shorter custom seat. It also works with the original rear light. When using the stock tail light, two small holes must be drilled into the mudguard only, so it can be fixed to the two threaded mounting points under the original rear light. The motorcycle frame is not drilled.

For the cleanest rear-end setup, this mudguard pairs perfectly with the Interceptor 650 Tail Tidy & GT 650 Tail Light Kit. It can also be adapted to many aftermarket rear lights depending on the chosen light and mounting setup.

Removing the original rear mudguard usually takes around 30 minutes. Installing the Bonvent short rear mudguard takes around another 30 minutes with basic tools. In most cases, the complete rear mudguard swap can be done at home in less than one hour.
