Bar-End Mirrors for Custom Motorcycles

Machined aluminium mirrors, built to last

Machined from aluminium and finished with satin-matt black anodising, with a stainless-steel arm chosen to resist corrosion and stay solid ride after ride. A subtle finned detail on the outer face of the mirror housing gives the pair a distinct silhouette, while the mechanical parts are built for long-term reliability rather than looks alone.

Designed for café racer, scrambler and vintage builds

The arm geometry brings a touch of modern detailing to classic-shaped builds — café racer, scrambler and vintage-style projects, including Triumph Modern Classics, Royal Enfield, Moto Guzzi, BMW and Harley-Davidson platforms, as well as smaller-capacity custom bikes (125cc café racers included). No modification, drilling or machining is required for fitment.

Genuine E9 E-Mark approval

Each mirror carries its own genuine E9 E-Mark certification, not just a marketing claim — the approval number and side marking (L/R) are stamped directly onto the mirror housing.

Stable, clear rearward visibility

Tested on our own builds at road speed with no vibration and no blurring — a common issue with lower-quality bar-end mirrors that rely on loose tolerances in the arm or mount.

Fitment, mounting and dimensions

The mirrors are compatible with Ø22 mm and 25.4 mm handlebars. They mount internally at the handlebar ends using an aluminium expansion mechanism tightened inside the bar.

For handlebars with threaded ends, remove the aluminium expander and screw the mirror directly into the handlebar. This mounting method applies, for example, to Royal Enfield Interceptor and Triumph handlebars.

Each mirror can be installed on the left or right and positioned above or below the handlebars. Both configurations work equally well, technically and visually, so the choice depends on your preferred cockpit layout.

  • Mirror diameter: 105 mm
  • Lower arm length: 86 mm
  • Upright arm section: 60 mm
  • Distance from the bar-end mounting centre to the mirror joint: 130 mm

Why we designed our own bar-end mirrors

A crowded market, but few genuinely reliable pairs

The bar-end mirror market is crowded, but genuinely well-made pairs — tested for stability and adapted to everything from small-capacity 125cc café racers to larger custom motorcycles — are harder to find than the listings suggest. Many sellers advertise a low price for what turns out to be a single mirror, not a pair, with no real proof of homologation behind it.

Built around design and safety

We designed the BONVENT bar-end mirrors around two priorities: design and safety. A machined aluminium body and a stainless-steel arm are built to hold up over years of riding, tested on our own bikes for vibration-free, clear rearward visibility — not just good looks in the first photos. The finned detail on the mirror face gives them a distinct silhouette on café racer, scrambler and vintage-inspired builds — Triumph, Royal Enfield, Moto Guzzi, BMW, Harley-Davidson and smaller custom projects alike.

A certification you can verify, parts that fit your build

Each pair carries a genuine, individually numbered E9 E-Mark certification, so there's no guesswork at your next roadworthiness inspection. And because they're designed to match the mounting points already used across our own Royal Enfield and Triumph parts, they fit cleanly into a complete BONVENT build — not just as a standalone accessory.

What to expect once fitted

Fitting bar-end mirrors does add some width at the front of the bike — roughly 6cm on each side with our 105mm mirror head — giving the front end a bolder, more purposeful stance. Sold as a true pair, with everything needed to mount them on Ø22mm or 25.4mm handlebars, expansion or threaded, no modification required.

Why choose BONVENT over other bar-end mirrors

Sold as a genuine pair, not a single mirror

Many bar-end mirrors sold online are listed as pairs but delivered as a single mirror, with the price reflecting one unit rather than two. BONVENT mirrors are always sold, priced and shipped as a complete pair.

A verifiable E9 E-Mark certificate

Many bar-end mirrors display an E-Mark symbol without a verifiable certificate or approval number. BONVENT mirrors carry a genuine, individually numbered E9 E-Mark approval, stamped directly onto each mirror housing (L/R marked), not printed on packaging.

Tested for stability, not just appearance

Vibration and blurring at speed are the most common complaints reported with low-cost bar-end mirrors, caused by loose tolerances in the mounting arm. BONVENT mirrors use a machined aluminium body and a stainless-steel arm, tested on our own bikes with no vibration at road speed.

Two mounting systems included, no modification needed

Many bar-end mirrors fit only one handlebar type — either open/expansion or threaded — requiring the buyer to identify the correct version before ordering. BONVENT mirrors include both mounting systems in the box: an aluminium expansion adapter for open handlebars, and direct threaded mounting for handlebars like Royal Enfield Interceptor and Triumph Modern Classics, with no drilling or modification needed either way.

Designed to match a complete BONVENT build

Most bar-end mirrors are designed as universal aftermarket accessories, unrelated to any specific build. BONVENT mirrors are designed to match the mounting language of our own Royal Enfield and Triumph parts range, for riders assembling a complete custom build rather than a single standalone part.

FAQ

Are these mirrors sold individually or as a pair?

As a genuine pair — two mirrors, complete with mounting hardware. Many bar-end mirror listings advertise a low price for a single unit only; BONVENT mirrors are always sold and priced as a pair.

Is this a real E-Mark certificate, or just a marketing claim?

It's a genuine E9 E-Mark certification. The approval number and side marking (L/R) are stamped directly onto each mirror housing — not just printed on the packaging or claimed in the listing.

How can I check that these mirrors are genuinely E-Mark certified?

Each mirror carries its own individually marked E9 approval — the E-Mark symbol, the approval number, and a letter (L or R) identifying which side it's designed for. This marking is stamped directly on the mirror housing.

Will these mirrors vibrate or blur at speed?

No — we tested this pair on our own bikes at road speed and found no vibration and no blurring. Vibration is one of the most common complaints with lower-cost bar-end mirrors, usually caused by loose tolerances in the arm or mounting hardware; the machined aluminium body and solid stainless-steel arm on BONVENT mirrors are built to stay stable.

Do bar-end mirrors make the bike wider, and will they get in the way when filtering or parking?

Yes, slightly — expect roughly 6cm of extra width on each side with this 105mm mirror head, compared to no mirrors at all. Most riders find this gives the front end a bolder, more purposeful stance rather than causing real difficulty when filtering or parking.

Will these mirrors pass a roadworthiness inspection (TÜV, contrôle technique, MOT)?

Yes. Each mirror carries a genuine, individually numbered E9 E-Mark certificate, recognised across the EU. Since E-Mark is the legal proof of compliance required at inspection, customers fitting these mirrors typically pass TÜV and other European roadworthiness checks without issue — no separate TÜV certificate is needed alongside a valid E-Mark.

Can I install these mirrors on a handlebar with a threaded insert, like Royal Enfield or Triumph?

Yes. Remove the aluminium expansion adapter and screw the mirror directly into the threaded bar end — this applies to Royal Enfield Interceptor, Continental GT and Triumph Modern Classic handlebars, among others.

Do I need to modify or drill my handlebars to fit these mirrors?

No. For any compatible Ø22mm or 25.4mm handlebar — open (expansion mount) or threaded — these mirrors fit with no modification, drilling or machining required.

Can the mirrors be mounted above or below the handlebar, and on either side?

Yes. Each mirror can be fitted on the left or right, and positioned above or below the handlebar, depending on your preferred cockpit layout.

Will these mirrors fit BMW, Moto Guzzi or Harley-Davidson handlebars?

Yes. The expansion and threaded mounting systems cover most standard Ø22mm and 25.4mm handlebars, including those found on BMW, Moto Guzzi and Harley-Davidson platforms, alongside Triumph and Royal Enfield.
