High Front Mudguard
The gloss-black composite front mudguard that creates the raised scrambler-style profile. Made from an ultra-light, highly resistant competition-type composite, painted, clear-coated and polished by hand.
Bonvent Motorbikes
The Bear 650 already carries a clear scrambler influence, but its original front mudguard keeps the front end looking conventional and close to standard. Bonvent’s high front mudguard changes that visual balance with a raised, purposeful profile mounted beneath the fork.
It is a focused, affordable modification that transforms the stance of the motorcycle and gives it the stronger scrambler and adventure character the Bear 650 hints at from the factory.
This high front mudguard is made specifically for the Royal Enfield Bear 650 and fits all model years.
The mudguard is manufactured from an ultra-light, highly resistant composite of the type used in competition, comparable to carbon in character.
Its dedicated mounting bracket is made from 3 mm steel and finished in a resistant matte-black powder coating.
The mudguard receives a professional gloss-black paint and clear-coat finish, then is polished by hand for a deep black colour and a highly reflective surface.
The gloss-black shell contrasts with the matte-black steel bracket for a precise, considered look beneath the front fork.
The assembly mounts directly beneath the fork with four screws. The steel bracket also provides a dedicated attachment point for the guide that retains the brake hose (brake line), with the required screws supplied.
Installation is plug-and-play and is normally completed at home in under one hour with basic tools. No specialist mechanical skills and no workshop are required.
The kit brings together the high front mudguard, its dedicated steel support and every screw needed to attach the mudguard and the brake-hose guide. See the Basic Kit Includes module below for the component-by-component contents.
Product guide
The front mudguard is one of the most visually dominant components on any motorcycle. On the Bear 650, the standard low-mounted mudguard anchors the front end in a conventional roadster silhouette. Raising the mudguard to sit beneath the fork opens up the space around the front wheel, which is the single visual cue most strongly associated with scrambler and adventure machines.
This is why a relatively small, affordable component delivers a disproportionate change in character: the eye reads the open front wheel first, and the rest of the motorcycle follows.
The finished assembly combines two distinct surfaces:
The gloss shell draws the eye, while the matte bracket stays visually discreet beneath the fork. The bracket also does functional work: it carries the mounting points for the four screws and a dedicated attachment for the brake-hose guide, keeping the brake line tidy after the conversion.
Because the kit is plug-and-play and mounts with four screws, this is a modification suited to a home garage rather than a workshop booking. With basic tools, most owners complete the installation in under one hour — making it one of the fastest ways to move a Bear 650 decisively towards a scrambler build.
