The Bonvent Interceptor 650 Seat Kit is a plug and play modular kit for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.

It keeps the clean lines of a solo seat while allowing you to switch from a solo seat with a mini luggage rack to a two-up seat with space for a passenger.

Two configurations: solo with a mini rack, or two-up

The kit reshapes the rear of the bike with a flatter seat and a more custom look. Installation is reversible and requires no cutting of the rear frame.

The system includes a front solo seat, a passenger seat extension, a dedicated mini luggage rack and a short rear mudguard designed to fit the kit.

Seat construction and comfort

The seat uses dual-density foam, approximately 8–9 cm thick depending on the finish and stitching. This construction improves support and comfort.

Two tail light options

Depending on the configuration you choose, you can keep the original Royal Enfield tail light or add the optional Bonvent tail light for a cleaner rear light and number plate setup.

A reversible installation for your custom project

The kit suits Royal Enfield 650 scrambler, café racer, custom roadster and vintage-inspired projects, without permanently modifying the frame.

What’s Included in the Basic Seat Kit

The basic kit includes the main parts needed to modify the seat and rear mudguard area of your Royal Enfield 650. The setup remains clean, modular and fully reversible.

Single Seat

The front solo seat is the main riding seat of the kit. It replaces the original seat with a flatter, cleaner and more compact custom seat line, while using the original mounting and locking system of the motorcycle.

Rear Passenger Seat Extension

This extension lets you switch from solo riding to a two-up seat. Designed for occasional passenger use, it slots into the rear of the modular seat system.

Short Rear Mudguard

The short rear mudguard is designed to fit the Bonvent modular seat kit and replace the original rear mudguard. It creates a cleaner rear line and allows the solo seat, passenger extension and mini rack setup to fit correctly.

Rack for Stock Tail Light Setup

A dedicated mini luggage rack is supplied for the Stock Tail Light configuration. The rear of the rack is cut to clear the original Royal Enfield tail light assembly, allowing the seat kit to be installed while keeping the stock rear light setup.

How to Choose Your Seat Kit Options

Choose the configuration to suit the rear of your bike. The stock tail light configuration lets you keep the original Royal Enfield rear light assembly. Alternatively, add the optional Bonvent mini tail light for a cleaner rear light, number plate and indicator setup.

Who Is This Interceptor 650 Seat Kit For?

Fitting a solo seat leaves room for the rider only. It can look great, but it is not always practical for everyday use.

At Bonvent, our Interceptor 650 seat kit addresses this with a distinctive modular system. Ride with a solo seat and mini luggage rack, then switch to a comfortable two-up configuration by adding the passenger extension.

The kit suits Royal Enfield 650 scrambler, adventure, café racer, roadster and vintage-inspired projects. It lets you reshape the rear of the bike while keeping it practical for everyday use.

Optional LED Tail Light for Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650

The original Royal Enfield rear assembly combines the tail light and number plate. Its size can make the rear of a custom Interceptor 650 or Continental GT 650 look bulky.

The optional Bonvent mini tail light setup includes a mini LED tail light, number plate light, frame cover, rear indicator brackets, a universal number plate holder and a plug and play rear wiring adapter.

The optional mini LED tail light, number plate light and LED indicators use CE / E-mark approved lighting components. These parts are selected for a road-use rear lighting setup on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.

The universal number plate holder accommodates different plate formats, including European, Australian, British, American, Canadian and other international formats.

The included plug and play rear wiring adapter connects the tail light, number plate light and rear indicators without cutting the motorcycle’s original wiring harness.

Lighting, Wiring and Accessories

To complete the front and rear lighting, you can add Bonvent LED indicators, LED indicator resistors, front indicator wiring adapters and front indicator brackets to the seat kit.

LED indicator resistors are strongly recommended when replacing the original indicators with LED units. Without them, the LEDs may flash faster than the original indicators.

The front indicator wiring adapters are only needed if you fit aftermarket front indicators. They connect the indicators’ 3.5 mm bullet connectors directly to the original wiring harness without cutting it.

The front indicator mounting brackets let you fit small LED indicators below the fork. This makes the indicators less prominent and gives the front of the bike a cleaner look.

The optional waterproof seat cover helps protect your custom seat from rain, moisture, UV exposure and long periods parked outside. It is useful if your motorcycle is often outdoors, used for travel or stored for extended periods.

Can I keep the original Royal Enfield tail light?

Yes. Choose the stock tail light configuration to keep the original tail light.

This configuration works with the original Royal Enfield tail light. Two 5.5 mm holes must be drilled in the custom rear mudguard so it can be secured to the threaded mounting points beneath the original tail light assembly.

Are the tail light, number plate light and indicators E-mark approved? Is the kit suitable for TÜV inspection?

The mini LED tail light, number plate light and LED indicators offered as options with the Bonvent tail light use CE / E-mark approved components.

The kit is designed for a road-use setup on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. TÜV inspection requirements can vary with the country, inspector, motorcycle configuration and final installation. Final approval therefore depends on local regulations. So far, we have not received any reports of customers being unable to pass TÜV inspection with our kit.

Which number plate formats can I use with this seat kit?

The configuration with the Bonvent mini tail light includes a universal number plate holder designed to accommodate different formats.

The holder accommodates common plate formats from Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and other countries.

How do I choose the indicators, resistors and wiring adapters?

Start by choosing between the original Royal Enfield tail light and the Bonvent tail light.

Then select your indicator configuration: no indicators, rear indicators only, or front and rear indicators.

Resistors are strongly recommended when replacing the original indicators with LED units. Without them, the LEDs may flash faster.

Returns are accepted within 15 days of receiving the order. The seat kit must be new, unused, uninstalled and returned in its original condition.
