Gloss-Black Headlight Plate
An ABS rear plate that conceals the wiring, ignition area and fork tubes. It is painted gloss black, hand-polished and secured to the fork with metal supports.
Bonvent Motorbikes
The original round headlight gives Triumph’s modern classics their familiar character, but its size can make the front of the motorcycle feel visually heavy. This Bonvent conversion replaces it with a compact 5.75-inch LED headlight and a shaped rear plate for a more pared-back café racer, scrambler or custom appearance.
The gloss-black plate sits behind the headlight to conceal the wiring, ignition area and fork tubes. Metal supports secure the assembly directly to the fork.
The kit is compatible with the following liquid-cooled Triumph models:
Optional front indicator brackets are available because fitting the conversion requires removal of the original headlight ears and their indicator mounting points.
The 12 V LED headlight measures 5.75 inches in diameter and 84.5 mm deep. It produces a 6000 K light and incorporates a pilot or position light, dipped beam and main beam.
Installation takes approximately two to four hours using standard tools. The original headlight ears are removed by loosening the fork tubes and sliding them down sufficiently to release the brackets.
Because this operation involves supporting and repositioning the fork tubes, the installation is easier with two people. It can also be carried out by a workshop.
When configured with the H4 and pilot-light adapters, the headlight connects to the original Triumph wiring loom without cutting cables.

Removing the original headlight ears also removes the original front indicator mounting points. The optional under-fork brackets provide a discreet location for indicators with 8 mm to 10 mm threaded stems.
If LED indicators are fitted, the available resistors correct a flash rate that would otherwise be faster than the original setting. Bonvent strongly recommends adding these resistors for road use.
Rear indicators can be repositioned with the optional under-seat brackets, which also accept 8 mm or 10 mm threaded stems.
The confirmed applications are the liquid-cooled Triumph Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Street Twin and Street Cup from 2016 onwards.
The headlight incorporates a pilot or position light, dipped beam and main beam. Dipped beam output is 684 lm at 12 W, while main beam output is 1,244 lm at 24 W.
